Bow Shackles are a common type of shackle used in everyday scenarios.
Whilst similar to a D-Shackle, the curved "bow" portion of the shackle allows it to take loads from greater angles without developing a side load (Which can result in bending, twisting or snapping, typical on D-Shackles bearing an uneven load).
Due to their size Bow Shackles can also accommodate larger straps (I.e. Recovery Straps).
