Refund policy
At Camping Mat Warehouse, we take pride in the quality of our products and are committed to providing fair and transparent returns, refunds and warranty procedures.
This policy applies to purchases made through Camping Mat Warehouse and operates alongside your rights under Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
1. Change-of-Mind Returns
We understand that sometimes you may change your mind about a purchase.
We accept eligible change-of-mind returns within 30 days of receiving your order, subject to the following conditions:
- The product must be unused, in its original packaging and in resalable condition.
- All original components and accessories must be included.
- Proof of purchase must be provided.
- Customers must contact us to arrange the return.
Change-of-Mind Refund Options
Store Credit: Receive store credit equal to the returned product's purchase price, excluding applicable shipping deductions.
Refund: Receive a refund to your original payment method, less a 10% restocking fee.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for arranging and paying return freight for change-of-mind returns.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable for change-of-mind returns.
Where an order qualified for free shipping, the actual original shipping cost incurred by Camping Mat Warehouse may be deducted from the change-of-mind refund or store credit.
Any applicable restocking fee and shipping deductions will be explained before the return is accepted.
These conditions apply only to voluntary change-of-mind returns and do not apply where a customer is entitled to a remedy under Australian Consumer Law.
2. Damaged, Incorrect or Faulty Products
Please inspect your order upon delivery.
If your product arrives damaged, is incorrect or appears to have a manufacturing defect, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
Email: info@bravic.com.au
Please provide your order details, a description of the issue and photographs where available.
We may request additional information or arrange an inspection to determine the appropriate remedy.
There is no fixed 14-day or 30-day reporting deadline for exercising rights under Australian Consumer Law.
3. Camping Mat Warranty
Camping Mat Warehouse provides the following voluntary manufacturer's warranties on its recycled polypropylene camping mats.
Standard 30-Day Warranty
All recycled polypropylene camping mats include a 30-day voluntary manufacturer's warranty against manufacturing defects from the original purchase date.
No registration is required.
Extended 3-Year Registered Warranty
Eligible recycled polypropylene camping mats measuring at least 1.8 m × 1.8 m qualify for our extended 3-year manufacturer's warranty when registered within 30 days of purchase.
The extended warranty:
- Commences on the original purchase date.
- Applies to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
- Covers eligible manufacturing defects in the recycled polypropylene woven mat material.
- Is not subject to pro-rata reductions based on the age of the mat.
Binding, Stitching and Eyelets
Our standard voluntary warranty covers manufacturing defects in the binding, stitching and stainless steel eyelets.
After a mat has been used, damage to these components caused by pegging, pulling, folding, abrasion, furniture movement or other external forces is excluded from our voluntary manufacturer's warranty.
Manufacturing defects that become apparent after use will still be assessed in accordance with applicable Australian Consumer Law rights.
Warranty Exclusions
Our voluntary warranty does not cover damage caused by:
- Normal wear and tear.
- Accidental damage, cuts, burns or punctures.
- Incorrect folding or storage.
- Excessive pulling, tension or stretching.
- Incorrect pegging or securing methods.
- Dragging furniture or sharp objects across the mat.
- Fire, heat, harsh chemicals or misuse.
- Neglect, alterations or use outside the product's intended purpose.
- These exclusions apply to our voluntary warranty only and do not remove or restrict statutory consumer guarantees.
The extended 3-year mat warranty does not apply to smaller door mats, runners, carry bags, complimentary accessories or other camping products.
Other products remain subject to any applicable product-specific warranties and Australian Consumer Law.
For complete details, please refer to our Warranty & Mat Registration page.
4. Warranty Claims — Repairs, Replacements and Refunds
Where a manufacturing defect is confirmed and a claim is approved under our voluntary manufacturer's warranty, our preferred resolution is repair or replacement.
Repair
Where practical, we may arrange a suitable and durable repair of the affected product.
Replacement
Where repair is not practical or appropriate, we may provide a replacement of the same design and size, subject to availability, or an agreed equivalent product.
Refund
Refunds will be provided where required under Australian Consumer Law or otherwise agreed by Camping Mat Warehouse.
Australian Consumer Law Remedies
For a minor failure to meet a consumer guarantee, Camping Mat Warehouse may generally choose to repair, replace or refund the product, provided the failure is remedied within a reasonable time.
For a major failure, the customer is generally entitled to choose between a refund or replacement in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
If a minor failure is not remedied within a reasonable time, additional remedies may become available.
Approved claims under our extended voluntary warranty are not subject to pro-rata reductions.
A repair or replacement under our voluntary warranty does not automatically restart the original voluntary warranty period. Applicable consumer guarantees continue to apply to repaired and replacement products.
5. Warranty Claim Process
To submit a claim, please email info@bravic.com.au with:
- Your name and contact details.
- Order number or proof of purchase.
- Warranty registration details, where applicable.
- A description of the reported fault.
- Clear photographs, where reasonably available.
- Relevant information about product use and care.
Registration is required only for the additional extended voluntary warranty, not for Australian Consumer Law claims.
We may request further information or inspection where reasonably necessary.
We aim to assess claims within 7 business days of receiving the information or returned product needed to complete our assessment. More complex claims may take longer.
Return Freight and Claim Expenses
Please contact us before returning a product so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
For approved claims under our voluntary manufacturer's warranty, Camping Mat Warehouse will reimburse reasonable, necessary return freight costs supported by a receipt, or arrange return transport where appropriate.
Customers who incur reasonable return or transportation costs in obtaining a remedy under Australian Consumer Law will be entitled to reimbursement where required by law.
Please retain any relevant freight receipts and email them to info@bravic.com.au.
6. Natural Weave and Manufacturing Variations
Our recycled polypropylene mats are woven products and may display minor manufacturing variations.
These can include small thread turns, short threads, minor weave variations and slight dimensional differences.
Minor variations that do not affect acceptable quality, appearance, performance or durability are not generally considered manufacturing defects.
All reported issues will be assessed fairly, taking into account the nature of the product and Australian Consumer Law.
7. Delivery Insurance
Optional transit insurance may be offered during checkout.
Any insurance charge and its applicable terms will be disclosed at purchase.
Purchasing or declining optional transit insurance does not affect your Australian Consumer Law rights concerning damaged, lost, faulty or incorrectly supplied goods.
Refunds of optional insurance charges will be assessed according to the applicable terms and any legal entitlements.
8. Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Our voluntary warranties and change-of-mind returns policy provide benefits in addition to your statutory rights.
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.
